This saves our students time and money, as one family can take multiple instruments on the same day in a high quality, convenient environment. 7. Harmony studios offers free inclusive recitals throughout the year. Every parent wants to know how their child is doing and if they are really progressing. The best way for a parent to understand if their investment in lessons is really worth it is to have their child participate in a recital. Piano recitals have a grand piano, so

8. We are conveniently located at 827 North Tower Road in Fergus Falls. Due to the central location, our studio is convenient and draws students from Battle Lake, Pelican Rapids, Ashby, Dalton, Underwood, Foxhome, Breckenridge, Barnesville, and Wahpeton. There are lots of restaurants and shopping nearby!

9. We offer a "Picks Program" which is a practice incentive program to earn a necklace with real guitar picks on it earned by the minutes students practice on their instrument.

10. Students can participate in "Music Trivia" each week at the studio. This encourages students to use music dictionaries to search to musical answers.

11. We have a "Student-of-the-Month" Recognition" for Harmony Studios students who are nominated by peers or teachers of Harmony Studios. These students are recognized for their hard work and dedication to playing their instrument and also on how they as a student contribute to the betterment of our community!

StudioPolicy

Here is a look at the basic policies that apply to all of our instructors:

1. REGISTRATION: Registration is open on a first-come, first serve basis year round. Students may enroll for more than one instrument per week. You/your child will have the same lesson appointment day and time each week. (Summer quarter may see some exceptions to this). Harmony Studios is set up on a quarterly system: Fall Quarter, Winter Quarter, Spring Quarter, and Summer Quarter. Students taking summer lessons will retain their time slot for the fall. All students must review, sign, and return a policy letter to their instructor to start lessons.

2. MISSED LESSONS: Each instructor will have a different policy on missed lessons.

3. STORM/BAD WEATHER POLICY: If Fergus Falls Public Schools are closed due to inclement or dangerous weather, there are NO lessons on the day(s). Please listen to local radio/TV stations or check Facebook for closing announcements.

4. RECITALS/PERFORMANCES: Instructors at Harmony Studios offer performance opportunities for students. Performances are strongly encouraged but not mandatory.

5. PRACTICING GOALS: The study of music is rewarding! Each instructor has practicing requirements for their students. These practices should include technique, theory, lesson material, new/old repertoire, and ear-training.
